“” Starting for church, he stood at the door step and said, “God, I am going to Church. See you in the evening.”
Many a times, I feel like missing God when I am in the church…but sometimes I feel his love in the Altar…. his smile in the flowers… but always he is living with me.
I believe that spirituality is like a mother’s love for a child. Her care for a small baby . Whatever she does, she will be thinking about her child.. caring about him.
There is a small story which always gives me light in life…..a new vision..
once a traveler came across a place where people were busy with the work of a
building. He asked the mason..what are you doing ? he answered ” cant you see ? I am shaping the bricks. He asked a carpenter ” what are you doing ” He answered “cant you see ? I am making a door ” He asked a small boy who was bringing water…the same question..the answer was ” I am building a cathedral ”
The mason shaped bricks all his life time …the carpenter made doors …the
boy..he built cathedrals ….
A passage from The Bible
As Jesus was on his way, the crowds almost crushed him. 43And a woman was there who had been subject to bleeding for twelve years,[d] but no one could heal her. She came up behind him and touched the edge of his cloak, and immediately her bleeding stopped. “Who touched me?” Jesus asked. When they all denied it, Peter said, “Master, the people are crowding and pressing against you.” But Jesus said, “Someone touched me; I know that power has gone out from me.”
They were all touching him…but she touched him differently
There he asked me a question “Even when you stand so close to me physically,
even while touching my images, why you stay so away from me in your heart? ”
My spiritual life is my efforts to answer him . Trying to be move closer to him. Each word has to be a prayer, each moment,..meditation.
