wordpress.com to self hosted blog ? how to move posts

If you have your blog ready, on your own domain, here is how to move your posts from wordpress.com subdomain ( ie you.wordpress.com) to your new blog.
First, lets get the xml file from wordpress.com
1 login and click on Manage and then Export
2 select any author or select all as you wish from the drop down list
