Super Star Global is on air. There was a lot of speculation going on about judges. Anyways, it was surprising for me to see that they haven’t got any “big” guys around. But I feel they are talented guys so thats not an issue.
We have George Peter, Shaan, and Jyotsna as judges. George Peter has the experience of working with A.R Rehaman and he was the judge for Super Star Junior. Shaan was the music director of Dileep’s Don and Jyotsna is a well established singer of the Young Malayalam Cinema.
Now, on to Judging the Judges.
George Peter is going an extra mile to dig deeper in to the talent pool. He is trying to bring the best out of all those who have talent. We can expect strong comments and tough decisions from him when the show moves on. He has good knowledge of English and Hindi songs. So those who try to do mimicry with English songs and “self made lyrics” for Hindi songs will be caught.
Shaan, you are a good singer. Let me tell you that first. I have enjoyed the way he sings. Now here he is humble and but skilled. But don’t be so nice to contestants. But you are simple and I know you can’t be that tough. First Impression ? ” I trust you”
Jyotsna My favorite singer. No more comments on that. Simple and humble. But are you showing enough maturity in the way you judge ? or is it just because of the way you talk. I am still thinking. But there is enough time. I will wait.
So its all new Super Star Global. New Judges wishing you all success.

i really ashamed the amrita tv by the time i saw the judges.these 3 judges havn’t got good quality to judge..i am very sure that the ratings will definitely go dowm…its 100% sure…..george perter may have an experience with A.R rahman..but that is not the criteria to judge a such a big music events like this.no one among these people didnt prove themself.no one among these didnt get a chance to work with great personalalities in these days..it shows their standard.they cant give the normal audience a better satisfaction…so it is better you to change the judges in the initial stage itself.other wise you will never reach in the sides of idea star singer..look the judges m.g,sarath,usha uthup…its fine to compete with this you should have some big guns…other wise it should be definitely a bangladesh Vs australia test match..i am a very good admirer of amrita tv thats why i told like this…dont feel bad on me..take it in a positive manner..super star was really amazing super star global will be a biggie than super star for that i suggested like this manner..you have atleast chitra or sujatha as female judge ,m.g.radhakrishan or alphonse as male judge and one celebrity in every week,,,other wise definitely this will be a bigger flop in the amrita tv history…Hari

we wank deepak ji, alphonseji and baluji back. Shaan and Jyotsna are not much experienced. George peter is experienced in working with AR Rahman.

Thats a good question Ashwathy.
first thing I noticed is that, they are not functioning as a panel ( leave the celebrity judge ). There should be an individual assessment yes, but if u remember the old panel of super star 2006 there was something that we used to comment on them as Judges along with they being Deepak alphones and Bala .. Here its just george peter shyama prasad and Gayathri. This gives a gloomy look for the whole show. The moody color tone of the set ads to it.
