You have a special smile. What makes it so unique?
Thank you for the compliment but I have no idea what makes it so “unique” as you said…well all I can say is that when I smile I really mean it…it comes from deep within…even laughter…I don’t fake it.. and I hate those who do! J
You have a blog about your Indian Idol Experience. Superstar Global is not a subject there yet ?
I am still in the getting-to-know process with the SSG contestants…it’s too early to start a blog on them…I am still gathering my experiences to create a ‘rashonSSG’ hehe!!
You were there at Indian Idol 3, a national level competition with and the reality show with a great brand value. How do you feel when you are here, a little smaller platform?
I do not think that this platform is in any way smaller to Indian Idol…yes Idol began earlier hence they have a better organizational experience…but I must tell you that the first Superstar did tremendously well with the Malayali audience who were just getting introduced to the “reality” genre of television series… three cheers to Superstar productions team for that feat!
My experience on Idol has boosted my confidence definitely but I believe that SSG is going to better me as a singer…the judges here are well versed in their subject and comment genuinely…(no offense to the Idol judges…but sometimes they just get on to the audiences nerves!!)
I know you hate doing a self intro. So, give me a single word that best describes the “you”
A single word ok… it could be friendly…or confident…or talkative…or short-tempered…or enthusiastic…or sensitive…or hey! I was supposed to give you just one word yea?? My thought process didn’t let me…Sorry!! Hehe!
What kind of music do you listen to ? favourite singer?
I listen to all kinds of music in many languages ok let me list out a few to make things easier for you now:
Hindi: Fav singers would be Sunidhi Chauhan, Shanker Mahadevan, Shaan
Malayalam: Fav singers would be, Gayathri, Vidhu Pratap, Vineeth Srinivasan
Tamil: Fav singers would be, Karthik (I love that dudes voice!!!!), Shreya Ghosal (off late I prefer her in tamil more than hindi), and K.K
English: Fav singers…wo! This would be a huge list….hmmm lets see… Norah Jones, Mariah Carey, Celine Dion, Alison Morisette, Il Divo, Frank Sinatra, Michael Buble, BLUE, Westlife, Bryan Adams, Aerosmith, Linkin Park, Maroon 5… and the list goes on. Actually I have no favorites in particular…I enjoy some of their works…

I have seen a lot of comments about Judges of SSG. As a contestant, what is your opinion?
As a contestant I must tell you they are really very genuine with their comments…their only aim is to get the best out of us. They appreciate us and at the same time critique us very subtly. So far I have only had pleasant experiences with them! J
Hobbies ? Jack of all trades !! ?
Umm…singing (DUH!!), writing, playing the Keyboard, sketching (only when I’m in THE mood), and dancing (I can really get high on this!! Seriously!)
How much % of chance do you think you have here at SSG ?
Tricky question…well I’d rather not say anything right now ‘because all 20 contestants have something different and unique about them and they are really really tough competition for me. Unlike Idol where I definitely knew I am a better singer than some of them who went ahead on the show.
If you get a chance to sing in a movie, who will be the music director of your choice and who will be your first choice on the screen, for the song. ( I know its not your choice.. but if you ever get a choice )

Who is your best friend ? and why ?
I believe in the concept of Best Friends. I have a huge list of them and it would be unfair to just name a few. I am friendly to those whom I am comfortable talking to from the word “go”, who are honest with me, who applaud and criticize me, who are always there with me through thick and thin! I believe in ever-lasting friendship and not the ones that are made and broken within days/months! And I must say…that I am lucky to have friends who have all the above qualities! I am truly grateful to God for that!
