Super Star Global has started its melody rounds with 21 contestants. With Stephen Devassy on the stage, its half filled. Its a beauty to see him on the keyboard. If you remember me mentioning about Kavita, my senior from college …… she is in to the final 21. Thats a big news indeed. It was really interesting to see Ousepachan struggling to keep up with English + Monglish ( vow pretty good mixture.. better you avoid it otherwise you will miss the communication between the show and the audience not because of we don’t know English, but its really irritating to see such a conscious effort to sound that way for the sake of it ) of other judges and the Anchor. But he kept it simple and useful for the contestants.
Surprise !! It was Rashmi on the stage first song of the melody round. Quite interesting voice structure, that was the general comment. Lets agree with Ousepachan, he said the beginning sounded little different. But confident singing.
I liked Jithendra Nath’s way of singing. George Peter said he sounds somewhere similar to Naresh Ayyer. I felt more of a Hariharan touch in his voice. Hmm but its always good to be unique.
However, first episode of the first studio round… is not a good point to Judge the show as a whole. So far so good thats all we can say as of now. Judgment has improved a bit though.
