Amrita TV Super Star Global has reached its second round. With 170 contestants from all over the world. But I was not quite satisfied with the way US and UK auditions were presented. ( vow there was a girl called “madhuri” as a presenter. ssssh Shyama better than you ). Looks like they were in a hurry to bring the second round of auditions on air ?
Now, things that I am interested in. Rashmi Vijayan, who was a part of Indian Idol 3 has reached second round of Amrita Super Star Global. She came with the same kind of song which gave her green signal for Indian Idol. ( that was the song Mayya Mayya” from Guru ). Judges had no more questions, just a song in malayalam and she is in !

Another news of my interest, Kavita, who was senior at college and also from my home town Kodungallur, is in to the second round. So its time for the real show !!!
lolzz someone is addicted to Superstar…hehe..and most ppl frm abroad wont participate in a show thts held in kerala…since they will have to leave school or work or whtever…but there are exceptions too!!
I am not addicted lol.. but a big fan ofcourse .. its worth it. ( hmm another thing is, I am a big fan of reality shows , news based stuff and interviews ) thanks for the comment though
am a regular viewer of superstar Global. i very much like to see this relaity shows. but the judgement of the program is not up to the mark. See Mr. George peter selecting singers those who can sing in full throut, he has more experience with AR Rahman, his vision is lenient to the songs compossed by Rahman. Making noice is not at all Malayalam Song. End of the day this superstar is going to sing in Malayalam olny, not in other languages. so the scale factor for selecting singers little bit lenient to malayalam songs. i hope the judges wiill understand what i mean.

Thats quite wise judgment Binu. There is a big scope for improvement as far as judgment is concerned. Another point, that I would like to add, is we need to see the judges as a panel not as a single individual. But, this cant be considered as a reason to justify one of the judges if they go wrong.

on some of those finalists of I dea star singer(1) who tried 2 get into this show,thank god !!!!!they couldnt……….they just tried 2 hammer the chances of coming singers
