Being a blogger is not that easy these days, because if you want a few people to read and comment on what you write, you need to do well because, the blogs are growing in fast in number.
As much as you want others to read what you want and comment there, others also want you to do so.
Blogging has evolved in to a new way of social networking and sharing of information and at this point, an important thing that we should learn, is to communicate with other bloggers around the globe and find out who thinks and writes in the way we do or in a way that is of our interest. Its not easy to keep going back all those blogs and check for updates but you can make all those updates come to you. !!
google reader is the best way to do it. So lets get in to the point. What is google reader ?
Google Reader is a Web-based aggregator, capable of reading Atom and RSS feeds online or offline. It was released by Google on October 7, 2005 through Google Labs. Reader graduated from beta status on 17 September 2007[1]
Just as your other google services, you can use your gmail account to login here. You can add all your favorite blogs in there and group them or tag them search there… and lot more…..
So next time you come across a blog, look for the feed button and subscribe to it using google reader. I think you can configure firefox to make google reader your default feed reader. Official Google Reader Blog is a nice place to learn more about this little friend and yes be sure to add it to your reader !!
Got any questions ? post here as a comment I am sure we can find answers together… and finally, if you find this blog “feedworthy” ( hmm did I create a new word here ) add it !!

I have Been using two feed readers for some time now. First being yours truly google reader and other being Netvibes Both are good in term of usage. but i love net vibes for the simple reason of its UI. where as google reader has got simplicity and Netvibes has the beauty!!
Yes, what google does with everything, is to make it simple !!! and that is why I love them.. gmail is a really good example on how google makes things simple !!
so does this google reader thing work just for wordpress?
No its not just for wordpress. Everything that has a feed …that can even be your email so next time you log on to a website look for the feed symbol. The feed sign is the orange color one you see on the top and bottom of this blog along with the text Subscribe to feed
yes..that’s true I have been hearing that Netvibes is good for its UI.
But google reader works fine for me as well..only I do not know how to subscribe to RSS comments of the blogs
Hey do you see the feed symbol on top of the comments ? click there and you should get what you are looking for

“subscribe to comments” thats what we should look for ……..

Reader is indeed a useful tool.. in fact I’m almost dependent on it for keeping track of the blogs that I want to.. Thanks for spreading awareness dude.. maybe you could follow this up with a post on RSS Feeds and how to use it.. Anything to spread the “feed” bandwagon!
