Yes, and not because I like to, but I have to ! I never thought I will have some troubles like this on my way, just because I registered for an MBA, through an off campus center here. ( Its more like a private registration if you do not know what off campus centers are )
I had no clue about what accountants do and you know what, I always wondered looking at balance sheets and all those stuff “how come they show both profit and loss equal !!! ”
We have a paper ” Accountancy for Managers” hmm ok let me try something on it. I asked our trainer, what book should I refer to ? “what was your subject for graduation ? commerce ?” “No, Economics” ” Okay, you better get books from plus one ( similar to pre degree , a 2 years course done before going to college for graduation ) students, study them and get a book from someone who has done commerce degree and later buy this book”
Okay, so the bottom line is I have to learn accountancy and I am back to school books now !! I am sure you guys will have more news on this since I am in a cold war with Maths right from my school days. !!

Am on the verge of finishing my IGNOU MBA. One paper remaining. Ya, one of the module was “Accountancy for managers”.
Guess what i did? Just studied the theory part. Wrote only 80 marks out of 100. Cos there was a compulsory balance sheet to do worth 20 marks. I just ignored it. I got 60 and passed. Simple…hahaha
Am a science student yaar. And, who’se gonna study stupid accounting and waste their time. I just want the MBA cert. Nothing else.
