Well, I am excited. My gmail inbox is going to look for colorful now.
Recently, I’ve been playing with colors on the blog, editing the css of my blog theme. Now, its time for me to add colors to gmail inbox !!. Yes, next generation of gmail labels is here ……..
Adding color to your gmail labels, how can that help ? Look at the image here,
Do you see the red colored “to do” label ? I think that gives a great idea on how to make it useful for your daily use !
You all should try this out and let me know how it helps !! Dont forget please ……
Oops, I forgot to tell you how to do this right ? Here it is
1. Click Edit labels at the bottom of your Labels list.
2. Click rename next to the label you want to edit.
3. Enter the new label name, and click OK.
Or you can:
1. Click the square to the right of a label in your Labels list. A color palette opens.
2. Select Edit name at the bottom of the palette.
3. Enter the new label name, and click OK.

Well, you are going out of way to prove that you are a google lover. Whatever I see in the gmail in morning, I read it on your blog on same day!

Gmail is good and fast in introducing new and useful features!
this is something new for me and i am simply loving the new series on google. I believe google is every net freak’s god and wikipedia the demi god!!

No colour palette appears when I hover over the right handside of my labels. This works for one of my gmail accounts but not the other. Why is this? Help!

Which browser are you using ?
IE 7 - like I said it works on one account (personal) but the colour options do not appear on my football team account.
