Google has taken another step forward with allowing orkut users to keep their scrapbook and feeds.
” And now, we’re announcing that we’ve expanded privacy settings so you can now do the same with your scrapbook and feeds. Though some of us feel perfectly comfortable keeping our scraps open to the community, we know some of you are more private and would prefer to keep them among friends. How do we know? We’ve heard you in the help group and help center, and we’ve listened! Limiting who can view your scrapbook has been a long requested feature on orkut”
Still, we always expect more about orkut privacy, may be because its more and more insecure these days ? I have been using it for more than 2 years now, and I have personally experienced the number of misuses increasing
Have you noticed any possible security issue with orkut ? You got any suggestions ? I am in search for them !!

Thanks. it’s something better. now the privacy remains. but won’t the whole purpose of a community and making pals will be lost?

Great…I left orkut because the scrapbook was public. I might consider re-opening my account now. You got late in reporting this news this time.

… I remember my friend discussing some issue @ work, with her team leader through scrap book, and I had to call her to delete all of them…

I knew it, that I am late to post this, ( like I said, I had to leave this in the draft for long time, not getting time to finish and I had to post this in a hurry
