Hey, I found some interesting news here How much do they pay those directors of Bolloywood ? Have you ever wondered ? Now further notes, straight to the stats ………
Priyadarshan: Rs 12 crore and a share of 50 per cent profit margin in all his projects.
David Dhawan: Rs 11 crore and a share of 50 per cent profit margin in all his projects.
Anees Bazmee: Rs 7 crore and a share of 50 per cent profit margin in all his projects.
Raj Kumar Santoshi: Rs 7 crore and a share of 50 per cent profit margin in all his projects.
Abbas-Mustan: Rs 5 crore and a share of 50 per cent profit margin in all their projects.
Madhur Bhandarkar Rs 3.5-4 crore and a share of 50 per cent profit margin in all his projects.
Anurag Basu: Rs 3 crore and a share of 50 per cent profit margin in all his projects.
Nagesh Kukunoor: Rs 2 crore for each of his projects.

Both Karan Johar and Ashutosh Gowariker produce and direct their own movies under their own banner. Hence all profit / loss rests with them.
something more intersting i heard 2 or 3 days before is the amount of tax paid by the stars of bollywood

Hey priyadarshan doesn’t deserve that much because all that he does is remake malayalam movie in hindi! the worst part is he doesn’t do justice to the original script.. the mal movies will be hilarious but when he makes it in hindi the become hideous!
LoL.. you know what, Most of the Mallus around me ( including me ) r not that happy with what he is doing with all those big malayalam hits.. just that they are curious how it looks like when Bolloywood does it …
no I am irritated that he makes those sour movies in spite of having big bollywood bucks! his movies are a sham! I was so irritated after Bhool Bhulayya.. the way it was marketed and shot! he stuck to the original script for the first time but yet failed to capture the beauty of the original (manichitrathazhu)!
