On my mobile browser ( I don’t know the name ) that came default with the handset, large pages won’t load, because it is trying to display everything in the actual size.
Opermini re sizes the websites to fit on the screen and when we can navigate the page, and zoom wherever we want to see things in the actual size.
The Opera Mini experience has been fabulous so far. I tried accessing my gmail, orkut, webmail for this domain ( Google Apps ), This blog itself, and finally the wordpress admin page too !!
I am still playing with this little cutie. I will need to organize my bookmarks, save passwords for mail accounts and wordpress admin page. ( entering username and password using mobile browsers, is really boring and time consuming. )
There is a hot debate going on, weather early elections are going to happen or not . Unless you are too young to vote, ( sorry small kids out there !! ), it’s time to start thinking, whom to vote for.

This time, we should elect someone who can save our economy, who can make sure that we have enough food to eat, we have enough jobs and we are safe in every aspect.
We have a situation here. We are dealing with double digit inflation, high cost of living, less jobs and a lot more. We tend to concentrate on Why, or rather whom to blame and not How to bring things back to normal.

Well, I asked the same question when I saw this “speed up” on the top right hand side of my admin page for Wordpress 2.6 Beta 1.
Without knowing what it is, I clicked on the link and I got a pop up window
Okay, I see Google Gears. That gives some clue about this “speed up”. If you do not know what Google Gears is,

Luckily, I had Google Gears enabled on my Laptop, so the process was easy. I clicked and enabled Google Gears for Wordpress. What will happen to Wordpress If I enable it ? Need to check that out !!. Stay tuned for that information.

Wordpress 2.6 Beta 1 and me
This time, I decided to try the beta version on my blog. I am using it on a live blog, ( not this one ). It should be interesting right ? checking for bugs and reporting them ? … I am new to this, so not quite sure, what, when, where and how etc. Will keep you all updated. !!
Theme Updates
Now, something about this theme and blog. I removed the flickr part on the footer of the blog. Added tags to each post. Now, I need to make this theme Gravatar compatible. I am yet to finish the about me page and yes, the header image is still blank. Is it annoying guys ?. I am not a good designer, so you will have to wait until I do something about it !! Any new comments or suggestions about the theme ?
