Hello banna and others,

I wrote a plugin to enable transliteration of indic languages including malayalam in self-hosted wordpress blogs.

yea,
i am trying to setup a malayalam Wp blog in a new domain .but whats the needed plugin for that? mean the typing thing
i know abut Wp installtion.

But, blogger is controlling a lot of stuff…. not as open source as wordpress is ….. blogger theme designing and editing is much complicated.. ( I agree, when it comes to wordpress.com blogs, you should pay them if you need to edit css ) . above all .. the commenting part is too much complicated…… if you dont have a blogger ID or if you are using your own domain or other blogging service……..

I didn’t say I am a fan of blogger…. but that wordpress blogs @ wordpress.com IS NOT powerful as blogspot.com blogs… …but if you install wordpress in your domain, nothing will come near it….

thnx for calling me pR@tz …. … everyone calls me ‘njaan’ these days (though I am njaan at my blogspot blog)…… [yeah! a frnd of M.A.Dhavan..... ]

I am a fan of blogger for its unique features like post-by-email (though I haven’t used it yet, but is handy when blogspot is blocked in your org.) and as I said before the comment tracking feature…

I also have the the opinion that wordpress is NOT powerful as blogger when it is at wordpress.com …. i cant edit my templates, i cant insert scripts,….. and I think blogger is much more n00b-friendly …… esp with the new design, wordpress is latin n greek for a n00b

but… again.. am a fan of wordpress

Comment tracking is a good feature…. but there are tonnes of other features on WordPress that Blogger cant give… and yea be careful when you praise Blogger here lol there are Blogger hate community around us jk jk
