The Book that changed your Life…..

Is there a book that changed your life ?

I know that there are lot of people who got influenced by books like “The Alchemist” … But, more than just an influence, is there a book that changed the way you look at your life ?  Or may be an author whose books changed your life ?

If I ask this question myself, I do not have an answer. May be I am yet to read such a book…. will you be able to suggest some books like that … ?

there is a book called “How to Win Friends and Influence People” by Dale Carnegie. A must read. It is not spiritual. Just go buy it and read it. I will surely change your life and the way you behave with people. My gaurantee.

I would say, The Fountainhead.
It is the most thought provoking books I have read and it changed the way I see things around me.
You are obsessed by books these days. :P

@ Arvind

I can’t agree with you ;) .. you can not ignore books if you read them …. there will be an invisible hand ( any economics graduates here ;) )

@ Vishesh

That’s true … we take a little of each book in to ourselves ;) Arvind.. note that

@ Hasit

Yea, I have heard about that book, but I have never tried books that teach you how to live ;) … but if you insist, I will try

Hate to sound vain, but my first book changed my life for the better… :D
But of all the books I’ve read so far, it has to be The Godfather that got me thinking the most… :D

Okay… the one that I would say came close to it (I mean changing my life) was.. Ayn Rand’s ATLAS SHRUGGED… its different, much better than those self help books and an awesome read..

@Amit.. do try this book .. its even better than Fountainhead.. I can say this coz i’ve read and reread both… I guess that Fountainhead’s just more popular.. this one is critically acclaimed… M sure u wouldnt be disappointed…

I can say that Ayn Ryand books have a lot in them to influence the readers………………….Atlas Shrugged is the best one among them…………
