When customers do not know English

When customers do not know English :They make our days better.

We ask for their full postal address for verification and  the answer is someone@hotmail.com !! their email address. ( This is something that happens everyday. ). I can reply and ask ” postal address please” and that’s easier than anything else !!

They send a loooooong email, that makes no sense at all and we reply ” We did not understand , please rephrase”. That makes our job easy !!

They call the server ” Virtual Console.” and so many other names. They get really creative, or imaginative, we can’t blame them. One of my friends got an email from a customer asking for the picture of their dedicated server. They wanted to know how she looks like !! ( Well, now, listen to this one , once a client wanted to rename the server, you know why ? he had named it after his girlfriend and now ?…..  She left him !!!!! )

A customer asked me this last week : “What is the name of the “public_html” folder ?.

You want more ? I will try to post whenever I get funny customer replies ok ? For now, read this one

    Dinu,
Thanks for visiting INDIMAG — appreciate it. I cannot thank Tadlock and his options enough — just what we needed. :-)

Nice post. Brings to mind a recent encounter a fellow desi Account Manager had with a client. He sent a mail to this lady, asking her to please “bare” with him while his team was working thru the delay ; not to mention, half the organization was on the CC. On being alerted to the faux pas, he followed that with ” I’m sorry if you felt embraced(instead of embarrassed) by me, I will be careful next time ….”

Thanks for your visit n comment :) I’m a fan of options theme … but it was not suitable for a personal blog ;) so I couldn’t use it much :)

and that was really funny !!! You know what, its easy to make typos when we do non voice support… but looks like this guy don’t know the language itself ;)

Thanks! :) you are very nice! :*

Your theme is impressive as well Dinu - Adii designed it exclusively for just you ?

It’s what suits one’s personal styles and needs I guess — we are a group blog and hence our need pushed us to magazine themes. I spent frustrating couple of weeks with Branford when it’s plagiarism from Mambo and Structure surfaced. Wanted to stay clear of Branford and Tadlock released options..

Will keep comin back, looks like you a code junkie too .. :-)

    Thanks You :)

    @

Thanks … No, this is not a custom theme …. actually, was Adii’s personal theme, he had an earlier version of it… and recently released this new version… I knew this is the right one.. and was waiting for it …

I am not that crazy about paid themes … free theme > custom theme .. I don’t see a space for premium themes between them … :)

I am subscribing to your blog too :) It’s a good collection of articles and yes, Options theme is the best option for your purpose..
