I can haz a Canon Powershot SX100 IS

Tags: , , , , , ,

So, without waiting for SX110 IS, we ended up buying SX100 IS. The plan was to wait for the SX110, and finish my two wheeler loan by then etc …..  But that visit to Whizz inside the Forum Mall, Bangalore, changed everything. We went inside to check the status of SX110, and saw our sweet SX100 there, asked its price, quality etc, and  then smiled at each other … “shall we ?” that was the meaning of the smile …..   l have few photos to show you,

Cool. The Canon Powershot SX110 IS is around 14,900 rupees (equivalent) here in Singapore. Not much diff in the prices between here and there.

@ Philip

thanks for the info :) but I heard that electronic goods and gadgets are cheap there in Singapore ? is that right ?

Philip on 09.18.08 at 3:00 pm

a few things are cheaper. With most of the companies setting up local production in India, the difference in costs is not much anymore. But when it comes to new technology, its still S’pore which is cheaper.

Eg. a friend of mine bought a Sony Bravia LCD TV 32 inches here in S’pore for approx Rs. 27,000 (equivalent). On the Sony India website, its quoted around Rs.48,000.

You can apply for a Social Visit pass and have a holiday with your girlfriend in Singapore. And shop to your heart’s content ;)

Go to the S’pore govt immigration website at http://www.ica.gov.sg and read more details.
