I should say thanks to Google Reader, for all the work that it does for me. I know this is not “Thanks Giving Day”, but I can’t wait for next “Thanks Giving Day”.
How will I track those 200+ blogs, forums, anything and everything with RSS feed on it, if Google Reader was not there ? ( I know some of you use other feed readers and not google reader, say thanks to your rss reader, whatever it is .. OK? ).
I can’t imagine myself visiting hundreds of URLs everyday just to see if they have something new to offer !! Who in the world will do it ????
Google reader is one of those hundred reasons ( or excuses that I find ) making me change my Blog’s theme. I subscribe to a good number of Design blogs and WordPress theme authors, and everyday I have a couple of themes I want to try, available on my Google Reader.
How can you stop yourself trying it out, if you get two new shirts everyday, along with your morning newspaper ? Now, stop blaming me for changing themes !!
And yes, thank you for reminding me that I haven’t lost my reading habit yet. I still read a lot, through reader, if not books. ( But I am still kinda confused about this online and offline reading balance )
THANK YOU !!

LOL… Yes true..
Every Monday, I gear up for reading at least 115 posts, weekend (Saturday and Sunday, Pending)!!
Sometimes I get anxiety attacks, whether I would be able to read all the posts today or not.. But I have a complain.. Google Reader shows an updated post atleast 3-4 hrs after it is done…
The Reading List of Blogger is faster! Is it just me of you feel the same too??
rashmi’s last blog post..wednesday
it’s same for me too .. may be they are working on this … it takes some time for show up on the reader, but I have to admit that it has improved … I used to take longer in the begining.
The advancements in technology are so immense that i sometimes wonder what we were doing without them !
i also think the same. i have my feeds at netvibes. which has the feature of letting me know of new mails. so i use that. and has become much easier after that. great service is this rss.
exactly !!
I haven’t tried netvibes, but sounds like a good service,
but it’s difficult to move from one rss reader to the other, you know …
Google reader is great, but sometimes also a great source of stress. I have subscribed to several news sources, and whenever i open the reader there’s a few hundred articles to read.
God forbid i miss a few days in a row. There would be over a 1000 articles sitting there waiting for me. Gets very daunting

I don’t think subscribing to news website on rss reader is a good idea
Yes, it has definitely made life easier for me.
amit’s last blog post..Edinburgh and Scottish Highlands Tour (Part 2)
i still bookmark pages and read. Never used RSS feeds or google reader. That way i can stay away from an information overload.
really ? I thought people really love information overload these days …
Used to read anything and everything earlier. Nowadays, i just stick to selective reading. Its still a lot for me.
Philip’s last blog post..Gilly Gilly Bang Bang
that’s also good.. to be frank, there are feeds I have subscribed, but don’t read
Now that I am back after 25 days Google Reader is my saviour!! What would we do without it!
