It’s been a while since I wrote something here. I did blog a couple of entries last month, but nothing of real writing happened here for a quite long time. If I have to apologize to someone, it’s just me, because, I was hurting myself by not writing anything here.
Everything started from this blog ( even though it changed the domain name couple of times, and even the blog name ). I got the energy and the passion to do other blogs, like the one I am concentrating on now, from this very old personal blog of mine. Slowly, it lost the personal touch, and ended up being something, which I don’t have a name to call.
I don’t have a fix for it yet, I am not going to make any big promises to myself, or you. I am trying again, to give this blog a personal touch, and bring it back to life. I may not be able to write frequently, most of my posts may become nothing but ramblings, but still, its good to be here, in good company.
I’ve to thank “Wake Up Sid” here. I saw this movie 7th time today. I am not getting bored with this movie at all. For some reason, I am getting more and more attracted to it, and it always gives me a positive energy and inspiration to do something fresh and cool, this crude rambling being one of them !
People love movies or characters because they do things that we want to do in real life but can not. Â I know this statement is kind of “cliche” – but this is so true with My Name is Khan, but with a greater meaning and purpose.
Many people around us wanted to shout, that one sentence – I am not a terrorist – now their feelings have found a voice. For others, this movie will give enough light to say, Â ” I know you are not a terrorist”
This movie is telling me not to assume anything based on the limited knowledge about crazy things happening around me. This movie will stay alive in some corner of my mind and will keep remind me or rather warn me, whenever I am about to jump in to assumptions, and accusations.
Thanks Karan Johar and Sharukh Khan, that’s the first thing that came to my mind when I finished watching this movie.

Nice title .. isn’t it ? Okay, this is the problem with people who use twitter a lot, you always try to make things short. The title means, “Joy To the World, The Saviour is Born”.  Well, if you have an online business, or, if you care about how your business reputation is online, that is.

We usually start our weekends at the Forum Mall, here in Bangalore. This weekend, while we were in the Mall, She said,
“let’s go to the apple store”.
I was surprised, because apple store is one of the two restricted areas for me inside The Forum;  reason ? : gadgets are dangerous for me. ( the other restricted place  is Landmark, coz, I am addicted to books too ).
I asked her “what for ?” and she said …. ” I want to check my facebook” … and I was ..
” WHAT ?”
This happened 10 minutes after we left our home , where we have broadband Internet, and  where we are supposed to be back again in another two hours of three. Why can’t she wait for few more hours before she can check facebook again ? The answer is, A facebook app, or a game called “Farm Ville”
I decided to see  what this is all about, and I have to admit, I got myself addicted to this game now. So, if you have a facebook account, and going to check this out, take this as a warning. You may get addicted.
This is a simple flash based game, that you can install as an app on your facebook account. You get a small area or, farm which you can develop with plants, trees, sheep and goats etc. Slowly, you develop your farm and earn points, add your friends as neighbors, etc etc ..  There is a stupid option where you can purchase points, ( yea, pay using your credit card .. no !! I am not kidding )  with which you can buy virtual trees and seeds … interesting uh ?
I usually ignore all app requests on facebook and I was ignoring this one also, so far. But, when I started using this, I found out that almost all of my friends are already in there, living in their virtual farm houses. With straberries, Apple trees, and orange trees. Â I got a chat message from a friend asking me to send him an orange tree as a gift ( yes, you can send people trees and more as gifts ).
What makes it sooo addictive ? I don’t have an answer. But, there is something that you will notice. Each plant or tree gets ready for harvesting in certain amount of time. So, if you have a plant that you are supposed to harvest in 2 hours, you should login to facebook and connect to this app on that time, and if you are late, your fruit will be gone as in the real world. ( now you know why she wanted to go to apple store and login to facebook from there !! ) So you are connected to this app all the time, you check back at certain intervals to make sure that everything is fine ….

It’s 3 am, early morning and it’s raining outside. I have a cup of coffee on my table.
Hmmm … na ..  I was just trying to make this blog post sound normal,  which it is definitely not. This is a confused post from a confused blogger.
Surprised ? Yes, I am confused to the bottom ! What type of a blog is this ? Is this a personal blog ? If  the answer is yes, what happened to my “personal” posts ? No updates about where I am, what I am up to these days .. etc etc …  then how can you call this a personal blog ?.
Okay, then .. is this a tech blog ? oops …. no … posting some links about news you find online doesn’t make this a tech blog .. right ? and yes, archives are full of personal posts and ramblings …
Now, help me, dear friend .. on your books, is this a personal blog or a tech blog ?
I have nothing more to say about this .. check the number of comments on few recent posts here .. and then take a look at the archives here … see posts with 25, and 50 comments ?
