March 9th, 2010 — Google Wave
Google Wave has a new feature called “Email Notification”. It’s pretty simple. When enabled, Google wave will send you an email whenever a wave is updated.
How to Enable
To enable, click on the the dropdown button on your inbox, select notifications. You will get options to set up notifications. You can select to receive updates “Immediately” “Hourly” or ”Daily”.
I do not see an option to enter a different email address than my gmail ID. May be this feature is yet to be implemented. Let me know if anyone else here that option !
Instead of adding email notification, you can add Wave Notifier extension if you are using Google Chrome. Here is How to.
Enjoy !

When customers do not know English :They make our days better.
We ask for their full postal address for verification and the answer is someone@hotmail.com !! their email address. ( This is something that happens everyday. ). I can reply and ask ” postal address please” and that’s easier than anything else !!
They send a loooooong email, that makes no sense at all and we reply ” We did not understand , please rephrase”. That makes our job easy !!
They call the server ” Virtual Console.” and so many other names. They get really creative, or imaginative, we can’t blame them. One of my friends got an email from a customer asking for the picture of their dedicated server. They wanted to know how she looks like !! ( Well, now, listen to this one , once a client wanted to rename the server, you know why ? he had named it after his girlfriend and now ?….. She left him !!!!! )
A customer asked me this last week : “What is the name of the “public_html” folder ?.
You want more ? I will try to post whenever I get funny customer replies ok ? For now, read this one
