Add Mailing Lists On Gmail

Here is another feature from gmail, that I am quite happy about. I do not want to go in to details of How To Do it … You can read a pretty good blog post about it here

Let me tell you why it is important. Sending more than a certain number of emails at the same time, always makes troubles. Because of this, mailing list scripts and newsletters often create headaches for server administrators. They keep certain limitations, on the number of emails that you can send, per hour, per minute etc. That means, enabling a feature like this, on a free email package, that too on something like Gmail, which has a huge user base, is risk and challenge.

I think we should appreciate this, and keep this line in mind ”

“While this feature is great for creating efficient ways to email small groups, we encourage you to use Google Groups to manage large ones.”

PS: Its been a lot about +ve s of Gmail. Have you noticed any -ve s ? Or something that you really want them to enable for you.. I am really curious !!
