Do you feel 24 hours a day is not enough for you to live life to the fullest ? Do you feel bad when it’s the end of theday, because there is a lot more to do, but no time left ? say yes, and continue reading ..

What if God give you an extra hour everyday ? What will you do with that extra hour ? Study ? Play ? Browse ? Dance ? Hang Out with friends ? Watch movie or TV ? Read books ?

Since I asked this question, I am supposed to have my share of the answer too. So, here goes .. I will sleep !! hmm, yea, that’s kinda weird, I know, but that’s I would love to do, if God give me another hour today. ( and that should be the reason why he is not giving me that extra hour … seriously..  may be God consider sleeping as wasting of time ? LOL )

Child Themes in WordPress 2.7, and Copyblogger theme

If you are wondering why “wordpress 2.7″, yes, it’s time for another wordpress upgrade. WordPress 2.7 is on its way with loads of features including automatic upgrade, sticky posts ( which wordpress.com users already have ) etc ….

With this update, wordpress will boost the use of “child themes” in wordpress design and development. With more power added to the child themes feature, you will see more child themes coming out in near future.  So, what is a child theme in wordpress, is copyblogger theme using it already ?

Finding the Right Host for your Blog – 2

So, here is the second part of “Finding the Right Host for your Blog“.

Server Requirements : WordPress server requirements are simple, ( as long as you are planning not to host wordpress MU,  or plugins that require additional features and resources ). Lets go straight to wordpress.org, and check out server requirements.

PHP 4.3 or greater
MySQL 4.0 or greater
The mod_rewrite Apache module

If you are too lazy to check this out, wordpress has an email template that you can send to your “would be” host, and then just wait for their answer. Okay, don’t get confused. Most of the webhosts support all these 3 on all of their linux based plans.

Additional features/offers : Now it’s time to check for some additional stuff !! . Do they give you something extra ? like, Google Apps ready ? A free premium theme  ? A collection of themes and plugins ? Free domain name ? contests ? Coupons ?  Competition in Webhosting industry is really HUGE. Make use of it, get more features addons and more  !!!
