It’s been a while since I wrote something here. I did blog a couple of entries last month, but nothing of real writing happened here for a quite long time. If I have to apologize to someone, it’s just me, because, I was hurting myself by not writing anything here.

Everything started from this blog ( even though it changed the domain name couple of times, and even the blog name ). I got the energy and the passion to do other blogs, like the one I am concentrating on now, from this very old personal blog of mine. Slowly, it lost the personal touch, and ended up being something, which I don’t have a name to call.

I don’t have a fix for it yet, I am not going to make any big promises to myself, or you. I am trying again, to give this blog a personal touch, and bring it back to life. I may not be able to write frequently, most of my posts may become nothing but ramblings, but still, its good to be here, in good company.

I’ve to thank “Wake Up Sid” here. I saw this movie 7th time today. I am not getting bored with this movie at all. For some reason, I am getting more and more attracted to it, and it always gives me a positive energy and inspiration to do something fresh and cool, this crude rambling being one of them !

The movie is that simple – sit, relax, and start laughing. I was doing just that right from the beginning. A fast moving, and funny movie, that you must watch.

Okay, that’s all I could figure out as a “movie review”  … movie geeks, please help me out !! I know there are many of you who write movie reviews all the time !

Hmm, I should give a note on what this movie is all about, right ? Okay, four friends , one of them getting married …planned their bachelors party in Las Vegas. They checked in to a hotel, and and started celebrating …  ( drinking, mostly )  … next morning when they wake up .. everything looks normal .. except ….

1. There is a Tiger in the toilet
2. A baby in the room
3. One friend is missing ( yea, the one who is getting married that evening )
4. The Dentist friend lost a tooth

That’s all … nothing else … and yea, forgot to mention .. none of them remember what happened there last night !! Feel like watching the movie ?

Is the current wordpress dashboard design perfect ? Except the widget management page, it’s awesome, that’s what I think …do you agree with me ?

The problem with the current widget management page is this : Suppose your theme has two sidebars/widget areas, and you want to move your text widget from first to the second sidebar. You will remove it from the first sidebar, save changes, select second sidebar from the drop down menu, click “show”, then add the widget to the second sidebar … but wait, already spent a lot of time “clicking” and now, do you have the content of the text widget ? NO !! You should copy the content somewhere before you remove it from the first sidebar ….. you are lost ..

…. Not any more .. here is the new widgets panel, that’s going to be ready with WordPress 2.8, the next release. Have a look, and you will understand how it solves all these issues. For those who are curious if wordpress.com users will get this feature, the answer is a BIG YES ! You may get this even before self hosted wordpress blog users, just wait n watch!!
