April 18th, 2009 — blogging, me

I know the feeling, kid.
First of, I am not a writer to call this a “writers block”, so let us call this “blogger’s block”, ok ?
It’s been a while since I updated my blogs. I keep the “Add New Post” page open for a long time waiting for some thought to come in to my mind ( or to my fingers, if not mind ), but I sit there, and nothing happens. I read those inspiring blogs again and again …. things that can usually make me write something .. ( there are a few blogs where I spend hours, or visit 25 times a day, I will tell you later ) but no … nothing happens .. Is this what you call Bloggers’ Block ?

February 1st, 2009 — Linux, blogging
Windows 7 is coming soon, and I have seen good feedback about it, so far .. ( beta release ). Its better than Vista, and they are correcting their mistakes. But, interesting thing is, Windows 7 looks almost similar to KDE 4, ( latest release ) which is a Linux desktop environment.
With netbooks getting popular, Linux is taking another step forward, because they make netbooks even cheaper, and flexible.
Universities, Schools and even government departments are moving towards Linux, and there is a lot happening in the open source community …. and something like this too .
Okay, that’s about something I’ve been reading about for the past few weeks… and you will see more posts about them here .. let me know if you would like to taste some open source software blogging

October 7th, 2008 — Wordpress Themes, blogging, hosting
So, thinking about moving to “self hosted wordpress blog” ? learn how to find, upload and edit your themes
There are tonnes of themes available for you to download. Most of them are free. They are free themes way better than some paid ( or premium themes ). So, think twice ( or more than that ) before you purchase a paid theme.
The best way, will be to google a little. Try Google or you can go to WordPress’ Official Website. Also, there are brilliant theme designers, with themes that will fall in love with. Here is one of my favorites, pearsonified.com
ps: I will keep updating you guys about beautiful themes that I find during my theme hunts, so subscribe to the RSS feed, for more

There were stars shining …
but songs remained silent
there was clouds waiting
but rain never came …
But the light was there….
candles never close their eyes…
thinking about you…
there came the rain….
moving back in memory
melodies welcome their old friend
candles…never close their eyes
rain never misses me
