Customer Service is what I do for a living, and Web 2.0 is my passion. That should be the reason why the following Tweet caught my attention, and even made me write this blog post !

Anand Mahindra is the Vice Chairman and Manging Director of the Mahindra group, a leading business group here in India. He is an active twitter user and yea, I remember him asking one of the twitter founders if he can buy some stocks in the company   ( yea, on show organized by NDTV )

But Sir, I have seen many companies setting up twitter and facebook accounts, but saw only very few doing something in a way twitter users expect them too.

Is it okay to be a gay or Lesbian in India ?

I never thought this would happen. But, now that it’s hear, it’s time to think “what now” ? I always listened to various discussions and debates on this topic, ( I think NDTV had a good show few months back ) read a lot of articles, and blogs … and still, I can’t be sure if I am against or for this gay thing, and I didn’t care … but now I should ..

Is it okay to be gay in India ? hmm legally yes ..( some what, unless govt is not planning another law against it, or making any changes in how that freedom is exercised here in India. )

But, when I think about this .. two of friends, boys, telling me that they are gay ? I can’t even imagine that.. I don’t know how it is like, to have gay or lesbian friends …. I never had such an experience, and I guess any of us never had, because even if any of our friends were gays, they will never tell us .. right?

For me, in single word, it sounds very disgusting. But, I can’t deny their rights if that is how nature has made them, so, I am in some what confused state, I am not against it, technically, but I am not for it either. This may change when I read, understand and contemplate more on this topic, and I may finally become totally against this …. I am not sure about this yet … and I have a feeling that many of us around here, are in the same situation ….

and the saddest thing …. in a society where even the word “sex” is considered weired, how will there be open discussions about this new system ?? anyone thought about that yet ?

Quick News : Gmail , Google Doc, google calender and google talk are out of beta !!

There is a small debate going on in my mind, NDTV or CNN-IBN ? which is the best news channel of India ? and why ? I am a bit confused at the moment.

I used to be a huge fan of CNN-IBN. They came with a big difference in the way they approach the news. In traditional way, once the news is reported, and the news value is gone, no one talks about it or discuss about it.  Hmmm, may be “out of fashion” . But CNN-IBN always took an issue in hand and reported, discussed, popularized ( and even forced most of the times … other channels to do the same .. like the Jessica case ) and … did “something” more than just reporting it.
